Who Can Participate?
This course is for women with an immigrant background who lack formal education and are highly motivated to work. You must speak Norwegian at an A2 level and be between 25 and 50 years old.
The course runs five days a week, consisting of four days of sewing training and one day of career guidance. In collaboration with JobbX, you will learn about CV writing, job applications, and interview techniques. You will receive support in identifying your strengths and presenting your skills to potential employers. LIN will also assist you in finding internships and job opportunities.
In addition, you will practice a lot of Norwegian during the sewing course while learning to sew various products. You will meet others in a similar situation, giving you the opportunity to make friends and support each other.
