The LIN User Committee ensures user involvement and participation in the organization. Representatives commit to a one-year term, and the role is compensated. LIN is happy to provide references for committee members if desired.

What Does the User Committee Do?
Typical discussion topics include:
- Evaluating LIN’s courses and activities: Do current offerings meet the target group’s needs?
- Assessing LIN’s advocacy role: Does LIN effectively promote the target group’s interests to policymakers?
- Reviewing LIN’s visibility within the target group.
- Evaluating LIN’s vision and goals.
- Providing input on major organizational changes.
- LIN specifies additional topics for discussion in meeting invitations.
